HOW TO JOIN MGPS (ADMISSION POLICY 2014)

  • Students for grade 1 and 2 will have to sit for diagnostic tests. Diagnostic test is meant to assess a student education standard for elemenatry level. The test would focus on English and Arabic Literacy, Maths and General knowledge. It will assess the abilities that student has to solve problems or answer questions in the given subject.

  • Tests are taken at MGPS school premises at an appointed time given by the MGPS administration.

  • The Diagnostic test will also include an oral interview with the child to assess their early linguistic and communication skills.

  • Parents will be invited to register once diagnostic tests have been assessed and a placement decision made by the school. The school does not guarantee or reserve places. Places are guaranteed only when the required fees are paid timely (i.e. when parents have made the commitment to enroll).

  • Parents who delay registration may find no places available when they come to register.
  • Our system places considerable emphasis on student accountability, responsibility, and respect of self and others. Student behavior expectations are high in order to facilitate student learning and promote good manners.
